About

This is just a space for me to vent out, on the various topics that I would have otherwise, bored my poor husband to death:) So literally anything and everything that catches my fancy or earns my wrath will find its way here!

I am also a confirmed Blogomaniac as defined so beautifully by Solilo. I have also started dreaming of blogging – so let me just stop talking before you report me in 🙂

Please do leave your opinion – I would love to hear your side of it!

    • Sandhya, It has it’s pros and cons to be honest.. But as of now, I am enjoying it.. In some ways Blogger is much simpler – much easier to use.. WP has a lot of interesting features – the one I like most is comment threading – I can respond to you directly:)

  1. I am so late coming here! I was wondering why you were not writing any new posts- then I realized- you moved house, or rather blog!

    Looks very nice here. 🙂

    • Manju! And here I was wondering if you had disowned me for ditching blogger 🙂 So happy to see you here! Thank you!
Do you have plans to shift too? I am really liking WP.

  2. Hey…hope this is not the “grass is greener on the other side experience”

Am in two minds about the switch.

Will follow your experience with WP…but till then will blog on Blogger..

Mavin, The more I use WP, the more I am convinced that it was not a ‘grass is greener on the other side experience’ – I am definitely loving it – it certainly is much better – esp for replying to comments..

  3. Smi, Did you edit it or was it always like this? I saw an incoming link from here and checked again. 🙂

No – it was always like this 🙂 You must not have noticed it earlier 🙂

    • Are you sure? 😐 I remember reading something on the lines of vents, rants etc. hence the comment on April 6. Now me confused. Not that it is serious but just think that my mind is playing games with me. Tell me you had something else in the beginning. Please.

Now you are confusing me 🙂 As far as I remember I have not modifed it.. The bit about the ‘vent’ is the first line 🙂 I think I added the about page a few days after I moved to WP .. I might have added your link within the first few days, and you might have commented here before I added.. Not sure now 😦

      • Dhakkan me! Forgot that there is an ‘edit history’ to check 🙂 The last edit was on 7th of April- Guess I must have added it then – after you commented! So thats why you don’t remember it. I did add it after you saw it last! You have some memory! I did not even remember editing it!

  4. Hi there… your blog’s a refreshing read 🙂 I will come back to read more..

Welcome here! Do leave me the link to your blog please:)

  5. Nice.
I am almost a year late. But fine.
You write so well. I was not able to stop myself from reading your work. I wanted to add comments but in urge to read more, raced through one post and next and next.
It’s good that I came across your blog.

    Thank you so much Sunny!

  6. Grr. Both our blogs have the same tagline… I have to go back to the dashboard now 😛

Welcome here, Akshay 🙂 So we share a tagline, is it:)

Nice blog. Liked the spontaneity, though I only read one post….. But are the words of someone who is just one post old and got a rather underwhelming response to his first post important? 😕

Oh you are lucky that you got any response at all 🙂 My first post was totally ignored 😦 Will hop over now 🙂

  7. Me ready to hear all ur vents and researches as long as u updated Poohi’s page regularly 😈

I did update her page actually 🙂 Just a few days back:)

  9. Smits, just saw the pingback from Blogadda. Hopped over straight from my inbox to thank you and give a tight hug :). Thanks a ton, Smits. You’re a darling!

Hugs hugs hugs hugs hugs 🙂

Hugs hugs hugs:) I really really loved the post!!! It was just what I felt and what I would have wanted to write! You wrote it so so well! I had written about the same long back but it was nothing close to yours 🙂

    • Can I have the link to that post,Smits? I’ve no doubt it will be as much of a treat to read as is all your other articles. Awww,Smithakutty, your writing is way way way more superior to mine. You know how much I love your writing,na!

      Hugs 🙂

    • No time, Deeps 😦 Major time busy, am hardly at home these days 😦 Playdats which I don’t have the heart to cancel as Poohi will not get to see her friends for a while now, vaccinations, shopping, everything together in the last week here 😦 And I have not even started packing!

        • India Travel vac. I normally never get these done, but since she has been unwell last week, I was worried that her immunity would be lower than normal. And given the fact that we are doing so much travelling, it made more sense to take all the precautions possible. She is fine now :)Touchwood. Poohi is not a UK citizen – she will get it only if we take it. She is still an Indian citizen 🙂

          • Trying to make me jealous with all this India talk na? I don’t mind getting punctured with needles if that is what it takes to join you guys in Delhi…sobs!
Hey girls don’t forget to take loads and loads of pics when you all meet. I want Poohi and Namnu in one frame 😛

  12. Smits, the header is absolutely beautiful!! Tell me something was Kunju tempted to blow that tealight? Here whenever I light a diya or a candle, it doesnt take Namnam a second to blow it off!! 🙂

  13. Hello, I have a quick question for you about your site. If you could please get back to me at your earliest convenience I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day!

  14. Hey there
Just found your blog…. Dunno how exactly… was looking for the best 10 blogs in India and found yours….

You seem to be doing a great job for a long time….

I am an aspiring blogger and a writer as a whole….

My main intention in leaving behind this message is to ask you whether you invite or allow guest bloggers??

I am going to the jaipur Literature Festival this month and intend to share it on important blogs.. THe experience, the writers, the feel, the discussions, the additional nonsense…. etc…

Would you be interested in sharing my experience on your blog??

    Waiting for your reply impatiently….

    Thanks

    Shailee

  15. HI,
nice blog. I have been trying to get into the blog world for about three years now and sometimes I get obsessed with it and post things but when no one reads it I get discouraged, but I am known to be resilient. So, I just post away lol. You are welcome to check it out. 🙂

  16. Smitha suggest books for varu (she is 9 years old), she loves to read Roald Dahl books…suggest books similar to Matilda and charlie and the chocolate factory…

So, what do you think?
