Wayanad – we stayed at a wonderful resort for a day before husband returned, and this was taken from our room 🙂 A room with a view, don’t you think 🙂
Yes, Swaram, it was wonderful! It was just gorgeous! You guys should plan to go and stay there. Go during the summers and there is loads to do around there.
But the stream you see is just another small waterfall, I believe. The resort is very close to the Meenmutty waterfall, and the river which goes on to become the waterfall flows in front of the resort. From the rooms, you can actually hear the roar of falling water – its amazing! Totally worth it! Maybe I should do a complete post on it, sometime.
Wowww u must Smithu! The place sounds fab!
Reminds me of a place we stayed in Manali. River Beas flowed rt outside the window and we could hear the sounds of the water as it traced its way thru 🙂 It’s amazing na 🙂
We often do not realize the value or the beauty of things at hand.We look around for destinations around the world. How many of us knew of such a lovely place,so neat to us.I am going on vacation next week, and sure make a visit. Thanks for sharing.
Sigh!!!! Beautiful. Where was this?

Lovely pic, Smitha! Looks almost as if it’s in 3-D, because the trees seem so close…
Thanks Manju – it was a wonderful experience to be there as well.
Yay! One of my fav places to go. I think it’s beauty stems from the fact that it’s still comparatively unspoilt, don’t you think?
Oh absolutely! But I do wonder how long it will remain this unspoilt, you know.
Gorgeous… simply astounding!
Thanks Garima
